'Gold Star' is the title that the military gives a family that has lost someone in active duty. For over two years, playwright Michael Tisdale has been interviewing families of Marines who were killed in Iraq. Created from the transcripts, GOLDSTAR, OHIO presents the varied experiences of four Ohio families as they struggle to accept what has happened and find the strength to carry on with their own, forever altered, lives.
